2. Are your directories search engine friendly?

All directories are indexed by the major search engines. No redirection or popups. No link farms. Quality tests ensure that you get only high quality directories. Directories are continuously checked and updated.

3. Are there any special requirements or restrictions?

Yes. The majority of directories accept only top level pages e.g. www.yourwebsite.com. Subpages or deep links as in www.yourwebsite.com/subpage are not usually accepted. Restrictions apply to gambling sites (casinos) but we have a working list for every language in question. To submit a blog you are required to provide an rss feed url. Needless to say we don’t submit illegal content that violates the laws of any country.

4. Do you handle confirmation emails?

No. Confirmation emails are handled by the customer. Please note that i) some directories do not send confirmation emails and ii) we are registered users to a number of directories submitting multiple sites so we personally handle those submissions. Upon client’s request we can handle the confirmation emails at a small fee.

5. What about domains?

Directories’ top level domains (TLDs) range from .com, .net, .info, .org, .eu etc to country TLDs e.g. .de, .it, .fr etc (see the detailed list). Country domains can point to sites physically hosted or may be a mere indication of the directory’s origin. Many directories are hosted on virtual or dedicated servers on a different country than the one indicated by the domain.

The best you can do is submitting your website to the TLD you focus on e.g. .fr for a French site. This will give you a boost in local French search engine result pages (serps).

The next choice is to submit e.g. to French spoken directories for a French website since a lot of French directories have TLDs in .com, .net etc. The above applies to all languages.

Country TLDs are less in number whereas the option for language directories gives a lot more possibilities to promoting your website. The latter is the option most customers choose.

Yes, we do. Please send an email stating your interest and we’ll get back with more info. We plan on publishing thematic lists in the future.

9. How do I know that my site is indeed submitted to the directories ordered?

As a start, you get to see the confirmation emails in your inbox. Please note that some directories require a registered user to submit a website so you won’t get emails for them. We submit many sites as registered users in those directories so we get a confirmation when your site is accepted.

Upon completion of the service you get a report in *.xls format of all the directories submitted with URLs. If the client is interested in a submission review with acceptance ratio, arrangements can be made at a small fee. Submission review contains the relative URLs where your site is included.
